Refund & Return Policy – Phonebay.ae

At Phonebay, all devices are thoroughly tested and verified before dispatch to ensure they meet our quality standards. As we deal in refurbished and pre-owned devices, our return policy is strict and aligned with UAE e-commerce guidelines.

Eligibility for Returns

Orders are eligible for return only in case of genuine internal technical defects or functional issues that were not present in the product description.

Returns will not be accepted for the following reasons:

  • Physical damage caused after delivery
  • Minor cosmetic wear consistent with refurbished grading
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Dislike of colour, model, or specifications
  • Customer deciding they no longer want the phone
  • Issues caused by misuse, water damage, drops, or improper handling
  • Devices opened, repaired, or modified by third parties
  • Software issues caused by customer-installed apps or updates

Return Window

Customers must request a return within 7 days of receiving the device.

Requests made after 7 days from delivery will not be eligible for return or refund.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for return:

  • Device must be returned in the same condition as delivered
  • Device must not have any new physical damage
  • All accessories and original packaging must be included
  • Device must be free from any iCloud lock, Google lock, password lock, or personal data
  • The reported issue must be a genuine internal functional defect

Phonebay reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return Shipping Cost

Return shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

Phonebay is not responsible for damage occurring during return shipping. Customers are advised to pack the device securely.

Inspection & Verification Process

Once the returned device is received at our facility:

  1. The device undergoes a technical inspection by our quality team.
  2. The reported issue is verified to confirm it is a genuine internal defect.
  3. If the issue is confirmed, our team will contact the customer via phone before initiating the refund.

If the device is found to:

  • have no fault
  • have physical damage
  • show signs of misuse
  • have an issue not matching the claim

the return request may be rejected and the device will be shipped back to the customer.

Refund Process

Approved refunds will be initiated only after inspection and confirmation of the issue.

Refund timeline:

  • Refund will be processed within 3–7 business days after approval
  • Refund will be issued via the original payment method
  • Customers will be notified once the refund has been processed

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only if the order has not yet been shipped.

Once shipped, cancellation is not possible and the order will fall under the return conditions stated above.

By placing an order on Phonebay.ae, the customer agrees to this return policy and understands that refunds are only applicable for genuine internal defects verified by our technical team.
